More Pearls and Spanish
Since both the Spanish language (also here) and Pearls Before Swine (also here, here, here and here) (and sometimes both) have become a recurring theme in this blog, I figured I'd better put up today's strip.
Also, for those of you who are looking to waste a little time, here is an awesome site that shows things blowing up in a microwave. Absolutely fantastic.

You are right, at least 8 minutes of entertainment. I had forgotten about the "leetle lime" entry. I laughed my ass off, again.

Weekend after next. July 7 and 8.
Right. Which would be "next weekend" as June 30-July 1 is "this weekend."
This is like the whole dinner/supper thing, isn't it?
The next weekend will be this coming Saturday and Sunday. You could say "the weekend after next" or "the weekend following this comming weekend" or "not this weekend, but the next" or "the weekend after the 4th of July." However, "next weekend" just doesn't work.
ALSO, dinner and supper are the same damn thing. If they aren't, then what the hell is lunch? Is there some sort of crazy fourth meal floating around out there? A second cousin to "brunch" or something.
P.S. Brunch is the devil.

Well at least we agree on the whole "brunch is satan" thing.
