Busy

Since my last post on January 3rd:

1. Went to work.
2. Slept.
3. Went to San Francisco for work.
4. Ate something.
5. Captain came to visit (details will have to wait for another post).
6. Had a hangover.
7. Went to work.
8. Bears won the NFC Championship.

I think I need a vacation. Now taking recommendations for destinations. The only requirement is that it is warm enough to wear shorts.

We're All Gonna Die

Fantastic. On the same day of the story that pilots at O'Hare reported seeing a UFO hovering over the airport, the Department of Homeland Security released its report on how prepared cities were to address a disaster -- Chicago was in the bottom five. And I left my shotgun in Kansas.

I am unarmed, living in an unprepared city about to be invaded by aliens.
