ouch
Have tried to start working out a little again.
Have discovered after two days that I am weak, slightly soft and have no endurance to speak of.
Have decided to stop working out.

WUSSY! Just kidding, I don't work out either. Does your apartment or office have a gym? Otherwise, I have no idea how you would find time. Most guys I work with work-out over lunch, but I think I would be asleep by 2:00 if I did that.
What prompted this new workout routine?
In any case, I think you should stick with it. The pent-up lawyer/i-hate-my-blackberry/why-aren't-you-moving-with-a-purpose hostility you have going on should be enough to propel you at least through a 30-minute work out
Maybe I'll just stick to cardio and building up endurance. I kind of dig the treadmills because you can completely zone out (Men do not do step climbers or those eliptical things. It just doesn't happen). Once I get to where I can run a full 4 or 5 miles I could go back to weights again or something.
Weight training just sucks because I remember what I used to be able to lift back in undergrad when I went to the rec every night. Blah.
Running: remember that your ankle is almost completely man-made at this point.
(I HAVE seen guys on the elipticals)
lifting: yeah, but now you make more money, so it's OK.
And I usually only see guys on step climbers.
Maybe you have an unjustified fear.
Eeds -- My man-made ankle makes me like the Six-Million Dollar Man. naanananananananana . . . .
Except when I finish running it swells up like a softball and I limp for like two days. Whatever.
Sarah -- I do not have an unjustified fear of stair clibers. The "men" you supposedly saw on the stair climbers were most likely either (1) sasquatches or (2) ugly women.
